Meet slugs
Slugs are shell-less gastropods that evolved from snails, possess thousands of teeth on a rasping tongue (radula), and are hermaphrodites, meaning they have both male and female organs, allowing any two to reproduce.
They use unique slime trails for movement and moisture, have four tentacles (two for eyes, two for smell), and can stretch significantly, with some even having pale blue blood due to copper.
They are nocturnal, leave individual scent trails, and play an ecological role as decomposers, though many species are garden pests.
